Been humming and hawwing between an eyefinity setup, dual 24"s or a single 27" screen. My new PC rig that I have purchased is going to be serious overkill so I am looking to get a monitor setup to suit this!
I'm looking to find 3x22" monitors to be used in the eyefinity setup which I'm planning.

Whats my best options? I may be tempted by 3x24" monitors but don't want to spend too much more than £500-600 for the monitors.
Any help greatly appreciated.
I'll be running a watercooled 7970 OC'd GPU to power them.

In the same boat be interesting to hear people's opinions.

My options similar to yours;

Infinity setup - but the bezel issue might annoy me massively
A 120hz screen, a benq or a samsung and save the rest of the money
A 27 or 30 dell or hazro

Seriously this is the hardest thing to decide on!! I've already sent a 27 inch 1080p panel back because 1080p at 27 inch sucks!!

I've noticed a load of monitors don't have a display port on the 22"s. Am I able to use a DP > DVI converter and eyefinity will still work?

You need an active adaptor but yes.

Personally I'd either go 120hz 24" or >1440p 27"

Eyefinity is overrated in my opinion, too much screen distracts you in fps. That said it's much better for sims etx.

i can say that 25" 16:9 1080p is good enough to be a monitor (just tbh) but above this pixel pitch is poor. If only there was a 21:9 30" monitor at beyond 1080p :( then you could have your cake and eat it.

i wouldn't go smaller than 24" for eyefinity personally. I had 3 x 2048p 23" samsungs they were crisp but the lack of verticle height grated a bit too much.

But i can also say 23" isnt large enough and with landscape eyefintiy it just feels weird as you crave for more vertical height. Which 24" then? I'm thinking either the U2412M or the XL2420T.
