New system or just replace GPU?

So I've been thinking for a while about an upgrade.

Current specs:

Case: Fractal R4
Mobo: Gigabyte Z77-D3H
CPU: i5 3570
RAM: 8GB (1600MHz)
GPU: Radeon 7870 (2GB)
PSU: Seasonic 650 X

I only use it for gaming (at 1080p), a mix of WoW, FPS and some RTS.

I was originally planning to replace the whole system but now after some reading I'm wondering how much benefit I'd see from a new CPU - unless my old CPU would be a bottleneck I'd be tempted to just upgrade the GPU and hold onto the rest for another year or two.

If I just upgrade the GPU I was thinking about a GTX 1060. Any likely problems fitting that into my system?

Replace GPU and if running stock cooler upgrade it and overclock the CPU, I'm starting to feel I need to upgrade the 3570k but only because BF 1 is a bum!

Thanks both. I am on stock cooling atm - what cooler would you recommend?

What sort of overclock should I expect given this is a non-k cpu?

If it is a K chip then just get a cheap under £30 cooler, I haven't looked at them much since I brought mine so don't really know what to suggest. I'd say you could get to 4 Ghz with increasing the bus but remember it will also overclock the RAM and GPU. I'd say to start with get a GTX 1060/R9 Fury/RX480 and just see how it goes first, you might feel like you don't need to do anything else.
