guys n gals,
just upgraded my friends system for him, he now has a Gigabyte GA-N650SLI-DS4L nForce 650i SLi mobo with intel e6750 cpu, and 2gb geil 6400 ram.

He kept his old graphics cards until he could afford a new one. currently 2 7800gt s or similar in sli, with the jumpers set to sli mode.

now the problem.

only one shows in windows, and that one is running at pcie x1. i thought they should both be at x8.

psu is a 600w enermax.

any ideas?

Right click desktop, properties, settings, advanced...
Click the graphics card tab, and it should pop up with start Nvidia control panel.

In the 3d Settings, there is, or should be, Set Multi GPU configuration.
Enable Multi GPU Support.

Not saying that is the solution mind, but a good place to start.
