Motherboard
ASUSTeK Computer INC. P8Z68 DELUXE (LGA1155) 60 °C
Graphics
SMT22A350 (1920x1080@60Hz)
AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series (MSI) 37 °C
Hard Drives
733GB SAMSUNG SAMSUNG HD753LJ ATA Device (SATA) 22 °C

i was wondering if anyone can see anything wrong il explain the symptoms.

if i mouse over a graphical feature my mouse slows up this comes as from as little as running my mouse over the text i am typing now. next is the start up, the post sometimes says that there is no detectable hard drive but if i go into the bios i can start it up from boots options. just a few things but if anyone has any ideas pls help

many thanks

Is your memory overclocked? at stock it should be 1600mhz (800mhz) and you have it running at 1648mhz (824mhz). Could be your base clock is set past 100?

Could be, the AI Suite overclock will set your blck at 103 (it should be 100). It won't be helping matters if the system is dragging.

go into the bios, advanced then I think its under the AI tweaker set the blck/PCIE Freq to 100, make sure to hit enter once you have set it as 100. save and restart.

If your having trouble with your system that you can't pin point the issue its always a good place to start by returning everything to its stock value too.

Have you installed the hardrives on the intel sata ports ? If not do that and install the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology drivers too. That system should not show any signs of being sluggish, unless your boot drive is on the way out, maybe worth low level formatting the drive (find the drive test program from the makers site and they always have some form of low level format tool) and reinstalling.

BUT make sure to have the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology drivers installed and working right and the chipset drivers from intel too.

ok i have reset the blck/pcie too 100 and installed the Intel driver you mentioned, il try a game and see what its like and let you know

wow that looks like it has done the trick, switching the sata to the correct port, i didnt even think of that lol. thanks a lot guys. much appreciated
