New system temps

I've just built my new computer.

AMD AM2 64 X2 5000+
OcUk 8800GTX
2gb Elexir DDR800
Foxconn cheapo-crappo AM2 mobo
AC Artic Cooler 64 Pro
Xilence Gaming Edition 600W PSU

Anyhow, the motherboard can only hold on system fan, so I removed the fan from the back (that blew air out) and choose to keep in the larger fan at the front of the case (that sucked air in).

My temps at idle are always in the high 30's, usually core one is at about 40, and core two is at about 38... according to the Bios my system temperature is at 50c.

Are these temperatures normal for this system? Should I try swapping the front fan to the back, so more hot air is blown out of the case. I'm also just about to run Bioshock to find out what the temps are like under load.

why not find a fan or adaptor that will allow you to connect a fan directly to the PSU and have both intake and outtake?
