new system up and running 2500k at 1.6ghz?

Just got my prebuitl system from ocuk, it looks awesome but according to cpu-z my 2500k which should be running at 4.4ghz is at 1.6ghz, i know on my old q6600 i just had to disable speedtest, is it the same here? Im not familar with these new boards.

thanks seems to of gone up to 4.4ghz in cpuz but still 3.3 in coretemp, but i guess cpuz is always right!

Indeed, when idle they run at 1.6

Its speed step

when the pc is idle the cpu downclocks to 1.6 then when given a load it shoots upto the full speed dont worry its normal.
