The first system is crying out for a ATI5770, also a storage harddrive might be useful too.

Edit. You could actually drop the ssd for the second system, use a normal harddrive, and put the money saved for a ATI5850 for the first computer.

Corsair H50-1 High-Performance CPU Watercooler seems overkill for the 2nd system considering the CPU isn't worth all that much (in fact probably worth less than 1/2 the price of the cooler).
 
Thanks for the replies, I've got several 1.5TB drives which will probably be going into a Synology DS710+ NAS box.

The SSD for the second system (wife's) is essential - she wants one too basically and that's non negotiable.

The E2160 will be running at 3.0ghz in a small case which needs to be as close to silent as possible, hence the cooler.

edit: is there much difference between the 5770 and the 5830 graphics cards ?
