New TFT

Hi at the moment i have a rubbish 17" CRT which was my dads and is a couple of years old. I am looking to get a brand new TFT for as cheap as possible any one found a good deal or have a good model i should look out for?

I got the Belinea 19" widescreen from OCUK, it's just over £100 and it's great. I'm going to grab another one so I can work whilst watching DVDs etc. Highly recommend them.

Does to me. I wouldn't bother if it's a 17" TFT, but 19" and over, I prefer it.

lol 17 and 19 use the same 1440 res, I wouldn't bother with either tbh.

I think that was his point. 1440x900 on a 17" would look to small, and the screen size itself would be tiny.

Don't think there's anything particularly wrong with 19" widescreens if you're on a tight budget and you're a casual user. If you're coming from a 17" CRT using 1024*768, it would probably feel like a nice upgrade.

You might consider the LG L194wt. It's the little brother of the L204wt which was LG's best TN panel prior to them releasing the newer L**6wtq ones (which are again the same panels just with overdrive technology employed). More importantly, it is quite cheap if you look around.
