I have just taken delivery of a HTC Sensation XE to replace my tired old iPhone 3GS.

I need to know how I transfer music on and off the device, sync contacts calendar etc with outlook - is there an all in one android bit of software for PC like iTunes?

Any tips greatly appreciated - thanks.

put your contacts into contacts.google.com and it will sync automatically is the method I use at least. Plug phone into PC, it will ask you if you want to mount it as a storage device (as in, the phone will ask), do this and it will appear as a portable memory store like a USB device, just drag music into a folder of choice (there's probably already a folder called music) and job done.

HTC also have a sync programme (called HTC Sync) which allows you to sync iTunes playlists as well if you really want.

I have figured out how to sync contacts and calendars with outlook - is there no way of synching notes too?

Would seem extremely unlikely, you're probably the only person in your office that uses the Notes in Outlook ;) Evernote might be a good replacement to that sort of thing?
