yeah! sorry :(

We were posting to quickly and explained as I was typing :p

Other thing obviously you need to make sure you have another 6pin for power ;)

I always thought both cards overclocked/underclocked and ran at the same speeds, usually the speed of the one in the first slot
nope, i think SLI does.

well my crossfire doesn't. even when i had a x1600xt/x1650pro in crossfire they ran at they own speeds, also when i had 2 HD2600

ahh i have no need to expirment than :)

how much higher may I ask?

*edit* crossfire bridges normally come bundled with the card were did you get this second asus card? and is it OEM?

and no they are basicly the same, I belive well they better be >_>

i didnt get a crossfire bridge with my 1st card and it wasn't a oem card.

as for the 2nd card....i will get it delivered thursday or friday this week

You should have received a Crossfire bridge with the first card.

I don't think you can get them off-the-shelf, either. Shouldn't really be a problem in terms of practicality, though - Crossfire should work just fine with one or two of the bridges.

Insert the card into hte second slot, stick on the Crossfire Bridge connector to either of the headers provided (and match them up on the other card, obviously), and then boot into Windows as normal.

You'll get CCC asking you if you want Crossfire enabling and youshould then click for your required outcome.

I would have thought the motherboard manual would have had all this in?

Sorry but i have to dash so no time to fully read all the posts .................

My crossfire, 2x4890's ...........

I found using 2 bridges to connect cards with mon running from lower of the cards gave me higher benchies

This was after testing all bridge/output configs

If it's been posted earlier then ignore

I bet the powersupply didn't like ?

as for SLI its only the same card type for example 9800GTX++ with a GTS250 (same chip)

not much of a clock difference between the two depending which you get
