also i want to start 2 or 3 computers folding does it all count towards my ppd?
what is our team number?

Heh..

First welcome, sounds like you have made a good start.

OK Our team number is Team 10
You can track our team stats here
Passkey info here

And yes if you use the same username it all counts towards the one account, even safer with passkey :)

i've got 3 core 2 duo going and 1 gpu i can't use the other due to being intel onboard, i've hopefully got another core 2 duo coming and i have an 8800gtx sitting at home waiting for the core 2 duo, i also have an i7 920 but i need to fit the watercooling.
hopefully be racking up the points soon.

thanks.

Takes time to update. Think upadtes are done every 3 hours on EOC.

Make sure you get a passkey sorted and put into the passkey part on gputracker. And when you start the i7 folding, you will need this to get your bonus on bigadv units! Download HFM or FAHMON to keep an eye on your pcs.

Sorry to hijack this thread but i'm a relative newcomer again after several years off from folding. What does the credit column in FahMon indicate? I see the PPD but don't understand this column. Ta.

From memory there are two deadlines: preferred and final. If the WU exceeds the final deadline I think it's aborted automatically and a new one downloaded to replace it. Don't know if you get credited for any progress you made though.

By the way, assuming you're running the SMP/bigadv app you're better off using HFM rather than Fahmon, as HFM calculates bonus points as well as the base credit for each WU so gives a much more accurate PPD value.

just nabbed myself a nice six core amd cpu and motherboard cheap.
is there a list of compatible hardware somewhere? i'm trying to buy a couple of second hand gpus, i am assuming that nvidea gpu's are best, i currently have a 5870 is that worth folding on?

Anything is worth folding on if you are doing it for the science, however you will get the most points from 8 thread (or more) CPU's and Nvidia GPU's
