New to iPod, HELP

Hi, i just bought my girfriend an ipod mini.

Im putting some songs on it for her before i send it her, but the thing is, i been reading about itunes, and ** ipod is a mirror of ** itunes library?

So when she puts this into her own pc to put a cd onto it, how will she do this without loosing what ive just put on it from my own pc?

If you put music on from your PC, when she syncs the player with her PC it will delete what you put on.

Rather than automatically synching the ipod with itunes when it's connected you can manually drag and drop songs instead.

I think the first time you connect the player to itunes, it asks you whether you want automatic or manual updating. On subsequent connections you can go to the Edit->Preferences menu and choose the iPod tab to change the option. You'll either select "Automatically update all songs and playlists" or "Manually manage songs and playlists".

Ahh cheers i been doin that, it seems to work
