New to itunes

Yesterday I brought a 8GB nano, and put a few tunes on it. Just to have a play around with, and today Iam trying to add some more music from a different PC and ive added everything to itunes, but when I try to sync, itunes is saying all the songs currently on my ipod will be deleted and replaced with the new ones in the library. there must be a way round this?

The reason for changing PC's is because Iam currently travelling so cant use the same PC twice, if you get me.

Ive added a load off albums and in the library the tunes are just listed when on the ipod will thet still be arranged in albums?

You don't have to pay to get album artwork.

Google the cover and add it to that album through iTunes.

You can right click and add artwork in one of the options.

You don't even have to do that much, Rich. Open an iTunes store account, sign in, but don't buy anything. Tell it to get the album art and it'll find them automatically. It won't charge anything.
 
Normal playlists you just drag the songs you want into them. Smart playlists let you select songs using their metadata, so for instance you could select all the songs by a certain artist except a certain album. It's a lot more powerful than just that though.

Tried this selected a few albums, and itunes doesnt seem to add the artwork. Actually yeh think it works when you play a tune off the album the artwork is displyed on the bottom left. Just a thought its not because ive not actually got the music in my library thats causing this problem is it?

You certain iam not being charged for this? :p

Hmmm, all off my gatecrasher albums are not arranged correctly. When I view the cover flow all the individual tracks are listed as albums?! Also some art is shown on my ipod but not in itunes.

Can you also create playlists willout using the music in your library put just the music on your ipod?

Anyone? Dont worry about the q about playlists.

Ive tried up dating the album art work and ive got the show art work ticked although it doesnt show any art work even on the albums that show the art work on coverflow?!
