Ive got a few guides and have played around with the bios and some guides here somewhat, but im wondering if anyone has a simular setup who can start me off.
Set the System Memory Multiplier to x2.0 til you've finished overclocking the CPU (press Enter on the option and go up or down the menu to get the x2.0 option).
Overclocking the CPU by increasing the CPU host right?
How far do you think ill be able to safely increase the CPU host before needing to increase the CPU voltage?
So if i up the Host to say 300, making my mem freq at 600 while system memory multiplier is at 2, i can then run all my stress tests in windows to see how it goes, if all is fine then i can bump it up a bit.
Not really. The manual says it's for enhancing the performance of the graphics card, but whether it actually works is debatable. I would just leave it on Auto.
Sorry for high jacking but I am in somewhat the same boat. When looking at CPU-Z my bus speed is at 340.0MhZ and rated FSB is 1360.1MhZ (both under CPU tab) my memory frequency (under memory tab) is 425MhZ.
Shouldn't my bus speed be the same as my memory frequency? Or the same as rated FSB?
If someone could clear this up would be nice
*EDIT*
Apparently this is true that way you get a 1:1 ratio which is superb. Got a 4/5 ratio atm so will be looking at that!
