New to overclocking

Don't think you are. I am in the same boat as you and am looking to get my RAM upto 800 too its at 356MhZ at the moment so only another 44MhZ to go :) Getting 1:1 Ration right now too :)
 
The only way i can get my RAM running at 800mhz is by upping my cpu clock to 400, that brings my cpu upto 2800, which i think is a bit to much of a clock.
 
Yeah bringing it to 400 is a tough thing to do but to get that 1:1 ratio that would mean you have a good overclock with no bottlenecks which I am aiming for. It doesn't really matter if your RAM is underperforming ever so slightly... I would rather have a 1:1 ratio as opposed to my RAM overclocked but not running at the same speed as my Bus Speed.

I am at 3.2GhZ with memory and bus speed working at 360MhZ so far at 1.344V vCore.
