new to Sky

I've just signed up with Sky bb which i think comes with a Max Hub ...

Is that hub any good?

I believe i won't be able to set an alternate DNS on that router, which i would have preferred.
What would it cost me to get a replacement router that would allow me to set the DNS?
Makes and models would be much appreciated.

That router is pretty much locked down, you can't even change the device names even though the ability to change them is there, so all my device names don't mean nothing.

WiFi is terrible they will charge you an extra £5.00 a month for extensions pods which don't work.
