Hey as title says im new to using a SSD and have just recieved my Crucial m4 64gb SSD today, ive been looking at different things on the forum and am now just about to go and update my firmware on my drive before ive actually installed anything on it.
What im wondering is what program am i best of using to back up my ssd with, i want to back it up maybe once a week to a internal 320gig hard drive i have it was a replacement for a samsung that died.
I only want to plug this hard drive in say once a week and back up whatever is on the ssd, so if my new shiny ssd does die/crash whatever I can simply plug in the old hard drive and then copy the back upto my ssd and all things going well not have to reinstall windows and any programs/settings i might have.
Is this a good idea and if so which program would you suggest I use to do it would the "back up ur computer" option in the control panel of W7 do the job well enought ?
