counter strike source. Yes i like the game because i play in a clan makes it good. Its very hard at start to get into it and master all the guns and how they respond but once you do its easy.beast said:OP, what's the game in the original pics? any good?
bindip1 said:so when i go from ATi to nvidia what do i need to do.
of course get rid of the ATI drivers what else. I herd some people said the best thing to do is format but that takes ages.
My 5200 is on another pc.HangTime said:If you are running a 5200 now then you should already have nvidia drivers installed.
There's a lot of rubbish spouted about needing to format when switching graphics card brands but it's a load of nonsense in my opinion. I've switched between 3dfx, nvidia, ati etc many times and not once have I felt I've needed a format for stability/performance reasons. In fact I used to run 3dfx and nvidia drivers simultaneously at one point when I had a agp gf2mx and a pci vooodoo3-3000 in the same machine running dual monitors.

i dont intend to overclock with my mobo because you cant lol.
thing is they were at stock settings and i never overclocked at all.esoteric said:I used to get tearing on my GFX like in your 2nd link and the long spikes on the Dust2 picture, I have an XFX 6800 Ultra, which is overclocked by XFX in factory, after reading an article in PCZone about pre-overclocked cards not lasting very long, and my card in paticular which had gone though 2 custom fans, an NV5 and a Zalman flower, I decided to underclock it to nVidia's standard timings, and that got rid of all the crazy crap I had, like in your pictures. In future if I get more problems like I did with my 6800 the 1st thing ill do is underclock it to standard.
