enjoying her very very much! much better day to day compromise than the CSL and back to my favourite engine note. :D

now to get the 'ring trip booked in. :)

Erk, not a fan of the colour at all but the rest is good :D

Is it me or does the new M3 not look that much different to the other new coupes?

Shes looks cracking Tom good choice, took your time with the pics mind :p

5 days

some of us have lots of work and a new car to enjoy in the rest of the day!

personally I love the colour, it was that or a white one as I think the lighther colours look much better on the E92. but finding a decent priced white M3 is pretty tricky!

this one came with most of the options i wanted, including the important 19's, EDC and uprated stereo, and was a pretty good price in the current market i think.

no chance on another Noble, always breaking & expensive when they do, totally impracitcal.

down to one car for the forseeable future, this was the case after I worked out how much money I had spent on cars in a year!

I much prefer the looks of the E46 CSL. This shape M3 doesn't scream M3 like the E46 but I like the hape to begin with. They look awesome in white, but everyones doing that so glad it aint!

That M3 badge looks odd in placement though, like an afterthought. This shape 3 series really does it for me though, saw a drop top earlier and it just looked right compared to some. Well done.

Splendid, well done old boy! There should be an MTorque meet shortly at Thorney's you should bring it down and get it on the rollers and see how much more bhp it has than my RS4 :(

:p - I know just joking.

Not sure if you've had chance to get it on some proper country roads yet but how does it feel to drive vs the CSL? As in steering feedback / how usable the engine power is vs the unit in the CSL (more of less responsive) etc, from an outsiders view it looks like a much nicer place to sit for a long trip.

Sorry i'm not up on my beamers, no ones actually said what car this is yet, and the pictures a bit cryptic for me :) Clearly its an M3 (from the thread replies), but its got a carbon roof? Is this a new M3 CSL then (I didn't know they made them yet) or do they all have CF roofs now?

had a stag do over the weekend and driving back was nice and comfy, about 1.5 hr drive from oxford through london. in the CSL i would have been ready to kill someone after that!

engine nice and flexible, both units good at high revs, new engine feels much smoother and a bit more torquey down low, so you dont feel the need to keep revs up quite so much in any given situation.

not really pushed it yet, but grip levels seem good and turn in nice with little understeer. :)

Gorgeous look car! Similar to what I'm thinking about getting within the next 12 months. Sorry to be cheeky but any chance of a ballpack figure for the cost? Am trying to decide between the E46 and E92.
