One thing about primes that you just don't get with most zooms is the size of the front element !!!

135L ! :D

Fingers crossed. I got told I would get one but knowing my MD, I won't!!

Sorry for my obvious jealousy in my first post :p

Get some test shots up pllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeease :)

It's DARK :(

I do have a shoot on Saturday, hopefully it won't rain...and I'll get a chance to use it :)

Though i am half tempted to take it into work tomorrow and ask Jenny to be my muse for the day. :)

My trigger finger is poised on hitting the purchase button on this lens. Raymond, give me a sample shot to make my mind up please :D

You will have to wait until Saturday/Sunday sorry, at work in the week and when i get home it's dark. :(

Ordered placed from them, very impressive pre-sale they have. They price matched the the 35L so I got it for £960, 430EXII for £185, Hoya 72mm Pro 1 Digital Multi-Coated CPL for £50 and a Sto-Fen Omnibounce for £17.

Kit now includes 5DMKII, 24-105L, 35L, 135L and a 430EXII :). All I need now is a decent tripod which I plan to buy in Hong Kong when I go there next week.

I think you got that backwards, buying a Tripod abroad and bring it half way across the world?

I've been messing around with the lens around the house (it's so dark out :() and I just love the shallow depth of field, sharpness, and the amazing bokeh thing lens creates. Bloody fantastic!

I KNOW !!! It's like creamy full fat butter !

at 100%, you can see her fingerprints.
