As I was growing up, I always used to buy black shoes during winter and white shoes when it got closer to summer.

Do people just buy white shoes all year round now?

I still tend to wear dark coloured shoes in the cold months.
 
Trying to get me some more OnitSuka Tigers Ultimate 81s. The last pair I've had have literally done me over 2 years, and that is, no word of a lie, wearing them daily, with perhaps the odd summer exception of daytime flipflops. These have been running shoes, gym shoes, football shoes, everyday wear shoes, the lot :)

Do people just wear bright trainers all year round now?

When I was a nipper, I'd wear dark trainers in the winter. Then I went through a phase of only wearing skate shoes (for the comfort) but now I'd like a pair of trainers again.

Not everyone, All my trainers are either dark or white, Can't go wrong with a decent set of Adidas Classics

I thought I would be a little different and get some bright orange ones. Don't wear them that often. The gazelle's on the right are my newest pair, and by far my favourite. And as said above, can't go wrong with Adidas classics.
