New Trainers

I'm a larger chap so definetely not slim fit.

I'm not sure if I wear boot cut or straight, does boot cut taper out at the bottom like flares?

Think I wear straight in that case.
 
yeah, bootcut do taper to fit larger boots etc, so would drag, badly, if worn with trainers.

so in that case, yeah those will look fine with straight jeans. :)
 
Wanted to pick up a few pairs of trainers in NY, but the selection over there is poor. They are just into their running and basketball trainers.

Managed to fine a pair of Adidas Hemp Superstars.

I have the cream hemp ones that were a US only release, there were those ones and another pair released but they minged iirc.
 
Argh. Torn!

In an ideal world where i was rich I'd get both pairs and alternate (Blue on left Yellow on right, then at half time change to yellow on left blue on right) but i dont have £280 to drop on them at the moment :(

They're not for wearing out and about, they're specifically for playing basketball in...

That's another of our players wearing similar colour scheme 2011 hyperdunks...you can see with our kit why the colours are being chosen

lol...im edging towards my number now.

Slight tweak to the yellow one, bit sleeker i think:

Also the lower sole is solid where as yellow is translucent, not as supportive/grippy apparently so this is a better functional shoe.

Anyone ordered from NikeID before? hopefully get them before xmas :x
 
Think Im due another pair of Supras over Christmas. I wear Vaders and Skytops but I bought some Skytop 2s recently and size? sent me a mismatched pair. dumbasses.
 
they've arrived :D :D got stuck in customs and then they tried to deliver to my now closed work (they were meant to arrive early enough that i could receive them at work), so had to get them from the depot today :)

Can't get over how light and comfortable they are :) can't wait to play a game in them, so much better than the Adidas Heat Checks I've been wearing.

(for reference, this is the colour of the kit i play in so the yellow works perfectly :p
