New Trainers

Does anyone go to these Sneaker events? I noticed there are a few around the country, one coming up in Liverpool soon. Just concerned about the fakes.

I've found this new shop opened up in Nottingham, some good trainer at reasonable prices

No I've not considered going to any events. No offense to the guys on here who seem sound, but going by the social media demographics who are likely to attend these things, I want to stay as far away as possible.

Granted people may be thinking the same thing about me:p

How hard is it to buy Jordan 5 trainers without paying the ridiculous reseller prices?

I've signed up to the SNKRS app for the next scheduled drop on the 10th, but loads of people said its a waste of time, you need one of those sneaker bots to stand any chance?

Depends on the colourway but 5s and 7s 8s etc tend to sit on shelves in the UK longer than elsewhere. Latest releases like the raging bulls and the fire reds both sat and were easy to pick up for retail.

When they do sell out the resale is never huge.

Id try on the sneaker app and then look at other websites on the morning of the drop. Maybe enter a few raffles if you really want them and dont mind returning if you hit on extras.

It shouldn't be that difficult, Jordan 5 are not popular in the UK. It's tough using SNKRS as thats everyones go to. Try OffSpring (good for Jordan drops as most buyers are from the US but US shipping is £45 which puts off most US buyers), Footpatrol and maybe Footlocker if you can get past the queue.

I have a pair of 90s from about 10yrs ago and they have been work hard. They look a bit ropey now, but considering the use over that time, they're great.

i had a pair of those twice and i dont think they lasted very long, i seem to recall they collapsed at the heel and i was probably under 10 stone at the time so its not like they had a hard life.

if they last you 10 years then keep buying them i guess, it just wasnt my experience of them

That's a win for me, finally a pair at retail price :D

Nice I really like these 5s. Missed out on both on snkrs but grabbed the 1 lows from footlocker half an hour later easily. Can't really afford the 5s as well this month

I got the doner meat dunks delivered the other day. Like them as a concept but not sure how wearable they are :p

There on another level of funkiness. Not my thing tbh.

My only regret with the Jordan 5's is that I didn't ask the missus to grab a pair in 6.5 US, as they're on Stock X for £1500 already

End have got some cool stuff in their sale (as usual) although I’m hoping the Common Projects I’ve got my eye on go lower than 30% off. Got a dark grey pair of Achilles Low’s for £125 last year so adverse to paying too much more than that now if I can help it. Said it before but 90% of the cheaper copycats just don’t get the silhouette quite right even if the quality is similar.
Extra 15% off today
