Again difference in fashion etc.. but i wouldn't be caught dead in a pair of hi-tecs unless i was playing squash. I see them as a budget / cheap and horrible trainer. I don't know, a lot of people i know with different styles would agree. But i wear kicks like this:
Hitec and Dunlop trainers are so uncomfortabel and do not last long at all or look decent. I know because my folks used to buy me them all the time when I was at school during the early years.
A nice pair of Timberland/Nike/Adidas or any of the other brands that you can pick up at any good factory outlet for WAY less than £50 will be infinitely better. Even the Burton/River island own brand current season models will be just as good at only a bit less in price.
Just got myself some Stan Smith white/black trainers as my old adidas LA trainers were falling to pieces. I'm not sure i like them though as i have size 11 feet and with them being pretty plain in design...i dunno they just look a bit odd. I'll wear them in tough as it could just be because they're so white.
Size 11 lol. All my other trainers look fine, but these are so plain they look odd. Grr i wish MandM driect would offer a free returns like they used to.
Side shot, not sure whether to send them back or see if they look better when worn in a bit. I'm 6'1" tall so wont look like an L lol.
