Well I finally got it! (long story, dont ask

). First impressions are really good. This is quite a bit of kit!

It seems ok so far. You have to hold the lens with one hand, and the grip with the other in order to properly support it. Otherwise ok.

that looks like a top bit of kit joe. what lens is that your using, it looks huge!!!

I use a Manfrotto 190ProB // 460MG

Great combo, very well suited to me, insanely versatile, rock solid (for my gear, heaviest lens weighs in at about a kilo, nothing major) and not too heavy (about 2KG).

Also very easy to dismantle, and therefore service. Looking forward to getting a lot of use out of it
