So, I'm looking for a good TV series, one that has some good amount of episodes so I can binge.

I've just finished watching Breaking Bad (my god... What a masterpiece!).

I love Sci Fi and Fantasy. Breaking Bad was the first series I've watched to break my preferences.

I've seen SG1 a billion times, all caught up on GoT. I'm a keen Firefly fan (why was it cancelled :()...

Ummm, yea, suggest something!

Battlestar Galactica? Utopia is just about sci-fi and I think it's the one of the best British TV series ever.

Battlestar Galactica, I didn't get into it. Way to political for me. I got up to a point where there was another ship about to blow up or something but opposing factions blah blah. No exploration, just politics on stranded ships.

Have a beer, epic suggestion. But, not going to start it again haha.

Fun fact, my step dad did most of the poster designs for Red Dwarf.

Ah cool stuff i just recently binged through the whole of red dwarf, I've never watched SG1 so gonna give that a shot thanks :D

I'm sort of in the same boat as you, I want some cool Sci-fi futuristic adventure type series with all kinds of aliens / planets and tech.

I also got into breaking bad after it had finished as i thought it was just some typical popular trash but it really was amazing.

If you liked breaking bad try better call saul (a spin off) :D

To be fair, I didn't really like BSG either, apart from the ending which I thought was excellent (most BSG fans I know say the ending was crap /shrug).

For Sci-Fi if you haven't seen it, Babylon 5.

Some of the dialogue was just breathtaking.

As has been said, Fringe is brilliant. Alias is also very good. Both J.J Abrams shows.

I'm also a huge fan of Farscape.

 Greatest TV show ever. EVER.

What about The Wire? I normally can't stand cop dramas, but The Wire is utterly, utterly, brilliant.

Have you seen Lost? The first couple of seasons are genuine classics, the rest are still pretty good (the occasional rubbish episode, the occasional brilliant episode), and the ending is.....divisive ;)

If you don't mind something a bit less, well, guns and explosions, The West Wing is excellent.

Person of Interest has three seasons to push through but you may need to stick with it until about halfway through the first season as it takes about that long to get going. Excellent after that though!

Have you watched Dark Matter yet? while its not ground breaking if you are a fan of SG1, firefly, etc. its one you probably won't want to miss.

If you haven't watched it yet sit down and watch Friday Night Lights, the TV series. I like all the stuff you like and love Firefly and I was really surprised how much I liked Friday night lights.

Not a sci-fi, but I think you should give it a go.
