New TV .....what to buy?

Picked up mine today from JL.

Putting it on the wall, with power, coaxial and ethernet running hidden behind the wall, so needed to buy it to figure out where to mount the bracket.

can the lg b8 sound be set to output a "stereo" PCM signal via optical....my dac will only do 2 channel stereo

I bought a Sony XF90 from Richer Sounds about a month ago, would highly recommend, the picture quality is stunning.

Definitely get an oled, can't be beaten for picture quality. Had my 55 inch 1080p one for about 4 years now. Still love it.

99% of TV can do only that, very few can do 5.1 over optical and then your not going to get the newer versions of DD and DTS so you should be fine for PCM stereo and I guess TV's that can do 5.1 over optical let you choose from a menu.
