Don't know if I prefer ... (or not) but it is different, so at least now I will be adjusting to a known baseline.
Therfore what I see and create as Rec709 output is capable of being received as I see it ........... of course, if being viewed on a phone or similar it may be nothing like it.

I use the free software displaycal, very good results, although it can take an age with older Spyder's.

I have the Spyder5, displaycal seemed to have more options, even down to the type of LED used in the monitor.

I like this response, I feel we get sucked into getting way too techy and obsessive in these hobbies. It's good to see someone else just go "Meh, that's not relevant to me"
