Well bought one now - so done.
Couldn’t pass it round as s/w is registered to serial number & activation code both then linked to your email address, and it is limited to a particular number of monitors
Surprised how much it changed the settings.

The important question is do you prefer the new settings!

Don't know if I prefer ... (or not) but it is different, so at least now I will be adjusting to a known baseline.
Therfore what I see and create as Rec709 output is capable of being received as I see it ........... of course, if being viewed on a phone or similar it may be nothing like it.

I use the free software displaycal, very good results, although it can take an age with older Spyder's.

Is it any better than SpyderX Pro software ?

I have the Spyder5, displaycal seemed to have more options, even down to the type of LED used in the monitor.
