New washing machine

got a new washing machine installed today but the LG machine keeps saying “checked for a blocked drain filter or bent drain hose” when I try to wash.

It was fitted by the retailer (Costco outsouced company) and I can’t see any bent hose when I pulled the washing machine out.

Could there be a chance the fitters did not do something properly?

Any insight appreciated. Will call Costco tomorrow
 
Have you read through the installation instructions?

It sounds like the machine has a water pressure sensor in it, and it's being triggered.

Is there anything that needs to removed from the drain filter before first use? Have you tried removing the filter and reseating it?

When the washing machine is in place, is the drain hose set up nicely so that the machine will have no problem expelling water into it? No kinks etc
 
From working on other machines, I would agree with this and suggest a faulty level/pressure sensor or one that has become unplugged/broken during transit. Is it letting water in? if it’s not allowing it in and is defaulting to open circuit it won’t put more in if it thinks there’s some in there.
 
Let’s water in but won’t drain from what I can see.

When you say drain filter, do you mean the filter at the bottom at front of machine near the drain hose?
