Afternoon guys.

I have my 21st birthday later this year and my parents would like to get me a watch, as they did for my sisters on their 21st. Im looking in the £400-£500 price point as i will be puting a little money towards it aswell. What would you guys suggest?

THanks

What sort of watch are you after?

The guy wants a £500 watch, who are we to tell him what we think he should want?

What sort of style are you into? Chunky? Slim? Modern? Traditional? Gotta give the OcUK watch gurus more to work with for them to help.

It doesn't matter how many times these threads pop up, I just don't 'get' it. Why spend a small fortune on a watch?

because he can, and more importantly his family seem to treat 21st birthdays as a special occasion and a quality watch would be something memorable as a keep sake to take with him wherever he goes in the future.

Some people have money to throw away on timepieces that tell the time no better than their £5 digital equivalent.

As suggested go out and try loads on, you need to design key feature so you know what to look for ie. gold/silver? has date? thin? metal strap?

I bought a Raymond Weil watch for my 21st, really nice.

Just ignore the idiots who think spending money on nice things is stupid
