New Work Out / Fitness Programme

Any of you know what is suited to someone quite young to get fitter and stronger?

I do weights, but dont know what i should do..also how many sit ups etc a day etc. Also if going on a few cycles a week would help.

Make sure your routine is based around Squats/Deadlifts/Bench/military press/Dips/pull ups (if you can do them)

But most critical is diet, make sure your diet is good with good sources of protein/carbs and fats, plenty of fruit and vegetables as well. Ensure Post workout nutrition is good.
6meals per day
Ensure you have a good brekfast
Ensure Post workout is good
If you want you can buy a protein supllement and having it as soon as you finish training (sooner you have something the better),
