I wonder if anyone can help.
I am having an annoying issue with my new build.

For some reason when my XMP profile is turned on I get the "Previous Overclock settings have failed" message on start up. My ram is rated at 3000. I load the last settings that worked and notice that XMP has now been turned off. Have also put the ram timings in manually instead of using XMP and it still does this.

It will work at 2133mhz, the majority of the time.
However, at 2133mhz today, it booted up with that same message "Previous Overclock settings have failed". Can anyone shed any light on this or help? The board is using the latest BIOS.

One odd thing I have noticed is that in "MSI Command Centre" on previous builds it always has the correct ram speed in DRAM. But for some reason it's displaying 3999Mhz?? May be unrelated but thought that was odd.

The spec is:
Intel 7820X
MSI X299 Tomahawk (Arctic)
Corsair Vengeance 4 x 8GB 3000mhz RGB LED
EVGA SC2 Hybrid 1080ti
EVGA G3 850W PSU
Corsair H100i V2
