Anyone thinking of getting one of these to play gamepad friendly games on PC?

Bluetooth so no dongle if you have built in bluetooth or a simple USB bluetooth adaptor should be good enough..

Going to get one and replace my age old wireless 360 controller, current X1 controller either requires a huge wireless dongle or a cable, and my PS4 pad requires additional software and the bluetooth adaptor anyhow, so this could be a really good all in one PC game controller.

Looks nice in white as well.

I'll consider picking up one of these when and if they become compatable with Steam Link.

currently using a PS4 controller and occasionaly the Steam Controller.

I have the Windows 10 wireless adapter for Xbox One controllers. If this works with that I'll buy it. Bluetooth doesn't inspire me with confidence when it comes to low latency and distance.

If there's not a wired one then I'm not bothered. Thinking about replacing my very old wired 360 controller (although it still works great). Are there only wireless controllers for the XBONE?

I'm thinking about it for the same reasons as you. I don't like the idea of the current XB1 wireless dongle thing either so BT is nice addition. Been playing some pCars recently on the old 360 controller and the left stick is a bit loose. Due an upgrade.

You could always just use an X1 controller with a USB cable. Only reason I want this one is due to less clutter.

The PS4 pad via blue tooth is a bit hit n miss. But that could be due to the third party software, this pad is designed for use with Windows 10 native, and I like the colour etc..

As for the steam controller, I haven't really given them much thought. That could also be an option.

I want one but at £50 nah. If it came with a play & charge kit then most likely I'd buy it. I'd have to buy a Bluetooth dongle too.

Until it comes down in price I'll keep using my DualShock 3 with SCP Driver that makes it plug and play.

it is a little pricey - I'll admit. But it does look nice. Nice things cost money?

:- ) Might be good idea to hold off, not so sure myself now. Still want one, but seems the price is too high.

I've bought one and should receive it tomorrow. I've had no end of problems with the xbox wireless adapter. One completely failed and I had to send it back to Microsoft. Occasionally when booting Windows the adapter has a yellow exclamation mark and I have to remove it and plug it back in. I'm hoping bluetooth will be better.

No because when it comes to buying a xb1 for some of my games I will get the Titanfall edition as it will fit in with the game and looks very good where as AW looks so so, but both be better than a boring plain coloured one.

I'm assuming xb1 controllers need a wireless dongle like the 360 does then?

Nope, I use my xb1 controllers plugged in (via usb)

Ah, u meant wirelessly I think, yes you need a dongle for that.

Ha yeah I did mean wireless, but I never tried 360 controller on PC before, I did have the software ages ago just never knew about the dongle and couldn't justify buying a wired version again lol.

While I have had an xb1 console once I don't know how their controllers are for computers(don't think I had cables), just after seeing the titanfall edition if I have to get a xb1 controller just for Windows it be that one, but never looked up how they work.

Caved in and went and got one of these.. give it the paces later today, but first impressions are it feels great to hold, textured grips are nice.

This is how the controller should have been from the start. Now it's the best controller by far with the textured grips and shape.

All - word of warning - the Bluetooth compatibility will come with the Windows 10 Anniversary update - so for now until this is rolled-out by M$ its wired only or via the xbox one windows 10 adapter
