I know it's still a few months off but does anyone have any plans for New Years?

I don't usually bother with it but I think this year might be different so I'm looking for some ideas. Any suggestions?

as for it being ages away. That depends where and what you want to do. If you want to go abroad to a popular destination. Then you might already be struggling.

upon reflection, i think the OP was just asking for ideas on where to go, rather than OMG NEW YEAR111

in that case, check out some airlines' websites and see what special offers they have.
you can get to the east coast of the USA for <£300 if you book early enough

NY in NYC could be fun

I've always wanted to go to the States but I'm about to blow my savings on a holiday in Europe so I don't think I'll be able to get a decent deal on a flight. Thanks for the suggestion though.

To book anything 'decent' for NYE you need to be thinking about it now and look at booking in October IMO. I've left things too late in the past and not ended up at the place I wanted to be.

Funnily enough I was having a think about this today and have an itch to go to New York, although it depends if I find a house before Christmas :eek:
