Soon come that time of the year where we make resolutions. Well this aint about what you resolution(s) is (or are) but more about why make them in the first place. Why wait till that time (jan 1st) to break or make new habits why dont we just do it now? and when we finally make them why do we tend to give up on it after few weeks? is this because we really dont have any intention of doing so all along subconsiously (sp?) or are we doing it because it is a trend?
As for me i dont see the need for new year's resolution - it is like doing the "in" thing. If i wanna break a habit or start a new one, i just do it regardless of what date of the year it is.

For example, if my new year's resolution is to quit smoking, i mean why dont i just quit now why do i have to wait till Jan 1st? as i would be doing more damage to my health and what not.
