The new year's just around the corner, so what are your new year's resolutions?

Mine: Get down to the gym and lose the weight I've put on over the last few months.

I don't bother with them. I don't think the best time to make resolutions is when you're full of booze and week old turkey.

Lose two stone by 6th April, then another two stone by 4th July. Want to look fairly good when I am tanning in Cuba next summer.

My resolution is not to make any more resolutions!

I plan to lose a bit of the beer gut, but I am going to be realistic and not start in ernest until around the end of January. Far too many chocolates and mince pies lying around to start that malarky on the 1st!

New years resolutions annoy me. What's the point in waiting for an arbitrary day of the year to make an improvement to your life? Why not do it today?

Starting at the beginning of a shiny new year seems like the perfect time to try something new or change yourself for the better.

Though I agree there is no real reason why you need to wait until the 1st. I imagine most serious resolutions come about at any time of year anyway.
