New York Style Date Ideas?

[Erm yeah that’s hard to pick one]

So I’ve been away with work to NYC and whilst I went a special someone couldn’t. So looking to make a date night to make our own NYC trip and fun. Just really random but I am looking for ideas.

Was tempted to ask a new local independent pizza place if we could come make New York style pizzas. Could be a bit of fun.

New York Cheese cake, the name is the give away.

Then I’m stuck of what to do next. Ideas

You want to ask a local pizza place if you can come and make pizzas in their restuarant using their work surfaces, ovens and stuff?

How could that happen? Liability insurance, other chefs/staff trying to work with real customers etc. Any sane owner would say no, what if one of you slipped or burned themselves and sued? The risk to the business is just too high. I'm sure there would be Groupon/experience packages that would cater for what you want - maybe.
