It's a pity they aren't all as stupid as that. It's also a pity he wasn't headbutting it like they often threaten to do to anyone and everyone who might cross their path. A concrete slab falling on the base of the neck might seem grim but when it happens to chavs it's an act of kindness.

Very much so, unfortunately (or fortunately depending on which side you're on), it looks very much like it was staged - his reaction isn't quite what i'd expect of someone whose leg has just been mangled, and there isn't any sign of blood etc given how crushed it would appear to be.
 
His reaction is actually spot on from what I've seen of horrible accidents (Ice Hockey accidents mainly) people don't always go into a complete outburst of panic, they fixate on wanting help/to get out of the situation and deal with it. I wouldn't call it amputation level injury either.. those walls are heavy, but not heavy (nor sharp) enough to shear a leg..
