That's right - I got mine for buying 1080 Avalanche at just the right time (Which, by the way, is a damn fine snowboard game for all you new Wii-ers looking to cherry-pick the GC back-catalogue for cheap).

Well, you also got it if you bought the platinum GC bundle which came with MK and Zelda in the box.

But yeah, you did have to send the receipt off with your purchase. But it didn't cost any money to buy, so was essentially free.

Completed it very quickly, but still go back to it more often than any other GC game. Very under-rated.
