It's not gonna be particularly fast though either. Roughly same BHP as a standard diesel Focus, and significantly less torque. That was entirely my point.
Anyway, if you CBA reading the perfectly valid information put forward, then I CBA arguing with you. I stand by my point that it would be a waste of money doing anything other than a remap, and maybe OEM wheels on a 1.0T Fiesta. And in doing such mods, the insurance premium will be significantly higher than that of a boring standard diesel that would still be faster. While the cost of the mods would see him halfway towards the new car price difference between the cars, the other half could be justified by fuel savings / insurance savings / better residual value.
If the OP was starting with an ST, different story though.
