Newbie Hybrid Bike Purchaser for commute and weekends

I'm going to have to wait a few weeks now. I asked at work if we had a Cycle2Work scheme and they are having a meeting about it. If they do, then I think I shall have to stretch the budget further and get something a bit more meaningful too !!

Well I got a Boardman Hybrid Comp 2011 through it for £500 which is lower budget and good.

haha nice thread bump.

I never got a cycle2work scheme from work, they wouldn't set it up. They said they would have to open it up to all parts of the business and as I work in retail it would be too big a task. Lame.

I spent all the money for a bike so am now confined to walking/bus and borrowing my mums car when she's not around.
