I am building my first higher spec pc. I have a Gigabyte ma790XT mobo and some G.Skill memory DDR3 1600 with the following settings CL7-7-7-24.
Firstly is there anywhere an explanation of all these numbers. I read the faq but the link which probably explained them was broken
Secondly if I leave the mobo memory setting to auto will this default to a slower set of numbers.
What setting would most likely need to be adjusted assuming no overclocking
