Recently i've thought of having a go at some audio creation with stuff ive recorded(something like eJay), but ive looked arounf the web and im kinda out of my depth.

So does anyone have any idea as to what would would be good for a nebie to the whole thing?

Thanks for any replys.

Try looking for Magix Music Maker on google, I had a shot of that about 7 years ago and thought it was brilliant, you'll be able to download hundred of different samples for it.

And an even better one, look at Fruity Loops, it's a damn fine piece of software, and again loads of samples all over the net for it :)

I would say Fruity Loops as well. I like to use tools that get the job done asap. Fruity does that for me.

Others to look at are Sonar, Cubase SE or maybe even Garage Band if you have a Mac... which i doubt, seeing as this is a windows section ;) Or, just thought about Ableton Live.

Tried fruity loops as well, found it mind boggling
But i like magix, so ill be trying that further, thanks for the help.

Me too , I've had this for a few years now and just cannot get to grips with it .I have E-jay DANCE , made some nice tunes with this bit of kit.Another one I have is Band in a box, this will make all sorts of tunes in all sorts of styles : waltz , jaz band ,country ,rock etc. still takes a little time to get used to . What I do like is it's ability to convert your home made .midi file directly to a .wav file.
