An acquaintance of mine wants £5000 tommorrow for a car I am buying, he wants a giro not cash for safety. I do not know his name, do I need to know this before taking a giro of £5000 out from the bank or can I fill it in when I am in front of him?

You've certainly been busy recently, what with planning to spend £170k on a commercial property to let it out, and £60k-odd to buy a house.
Either that or it's all the usual rubbish you come out with![]()
