ok, not got a high spec pc, as you can see. only really want to be able to run basic games, nothing fantastic.
i know my ram and cpu are nowhere near high end products, but for now i want to concentrate on the GFX card.

basically, i have around £80 to spend, so was thinking of something like the 9600GT or 9800GT.
at work we have a 9600GT with 1024mb ddr3 ram for the same price as a 9800GT with 512mb ddr3.

so my question is, which is the better card to get, if any, and what is the equivilant ATI card. or is there something else you would recommend.

cheers

personally I would save abit more and go with a 100quid ish, card like the ATI 4850...
then that gives you more wiggle room if you want to play a nicer game ect ect.
