Newbie raid question

I have a ssd 64gb with 550 read, and 120 write

If i wanted to do raid-0 i think thats what its called and have 1,100 read and 220 write

Do i need to buy another exact model? Or cud i buy a 60gb with 500 read and also 500 write?

RAID doesn't depend on models, it just works with everything connected what is able to work
If you plug second, but different SSD, RAID will synchronize to slower device speed. So it's why the best and recommended solution is to put two same models, exact = it gives you doubling speed, more or less.

BTW, you've got 550 read on your SATA-2 motherboard ? It's just numbers, and probably refer to compressed data.

And no sry thats a bit outdated , running a 4.4ghz i7 bundle from oc
