Newbie WC seeking advise

Add these to your setup,

1) Distilled water
2) Silver kill coil
3) Nuke (2 drops per liter)
4) Koolance Quick Disconnects to CPU waterblock (allows you to remount)
5) Koolance water Filter connected to the res in (protects your pump from debris caused by the radiator)

I would also aim to do the GPU at the same time. I tried just doing the CPU first go using the XSPC Rasa 360 kit (which was excellent btw), but could not rest until I completed the whole setup.

Also ensure you clean your radiator out thoroughly before hand.

1) add boiling water to it and let it stand for an hour a few times (dont add vinegar as flux used nowerdays is water based)
2) Rinse it repeatedly with distilled water until you cant smell any flux in the water coming out the radiator.

For the quick disconnects, you can either buy 1/2 barbed inline or like i did, G1/4 threaded straight into the waterblock and a female to female spacer so you can connect a 7/16 compression at the other end since Koolance only do 1/2 compression QCs

I have read that you should avoid using a filter :)
Secondly what distelled what are you using Cleeecooo, think im going to go for the dye, distelled water and biocides.
I wilkl wait to add the gpu's to the equation I think as there are not many blocks available fo the cards I have :(
 
Ill keep my eye on the water filter since Ive just finished my new build.

I have my Water flow set to alarm if it drops below a certain amount, so will know the filter is causing it.

Also seem to only see ek blocks for the gpu but they only visually matching, any1 have any experience with visually matching parts, and how would I go about try to get ocuk to get them in for me?

So i have put some thought into this and decided that I will go for a simple cpu cooling loop till the nvidia 600 series comes out go for a decent card that I can get a full cover for.
Will also start a project log for my hafx. :eek:
 
You may aswell buy 4 more compressions incase they're out of stock when you upgrade the drpahics card :)

Also, fluid, bridging connector and tubing cutter are missing :)

allows you to start PSU without turning mobo/CPU on. good for filling the loop

Waiting for kepler to see if I replace my gpu's or put them under gpu only blocks with heatsinks.
