Hi all,

New to the group and have questions already.

I need to order some couplers for my rig I have designed. I need 2x 90 degree couplers the same size and the one that goes in the pump on a thermaltake big water system.

I have had a look in the club shop but I'm confused as to what thread and taper I am after.

I will be including a peltier in my new rig so fingers crossed will keep it very cold. Will get some pics up once I get the last bits for the build.

Big water?!

I remember looking at that when building my first rig and thinkin how old fashioned it was!!

Do they not use 1/4 threads?

Not too sure, there are two thread sizes going to 3/8 tube. I need the larger of the two but not too sure where to get them from. I think the two sizes are 3/8 and 1/4 so I guess I need two 1/4 fittings?

1/4 is the thread size that's most commonly used. So you'll have a 1/4 fitting and that 1/4 refers to the screwing in bit. The 3/8 is the inner diameter of the tubing.

I think the big water uses all 1/4 threads so I would personally get some 1/2 barbs, 2 for each component and then get 7/16 tubing :)
