Love my RX, wouldn't part with it for anything. Handles like a go-kart (no problems leaving a tweaked 4wd behind on twisties), goes like stink, revs to 8k rpm, lovely!
Problems with reliability, well....yes and no really, average is around 60,000 miles, but there are examples out there with more mileage and strong compression so it's certainly not gospel! As with any serious performance car you need to spend on it, check the oil levels, coolant etc. Take one to ~400bhp and beyond and it'll still last as long as 'most' other (turbo'd) cars for the spec. The problem you get is because they are relativily cheap for what they are, people who don't know the first thing about cars buy them, and then break them by not keeping an eye on the above.
Ideal thing to do with one of these is take it someone who really knows their stuff, mine goes to Pip at WGT Auto Developments for all it's engine work, mapping, servicing etc.
