Don't laugh as this is my first go at thinking about building a pc. Any comments on the below please especially any better and cheaper components AND it will all work if I put it together?

Samsung SpinPoint F1 750GB SATA-II 32MB Cache - OEM (HD753LJ) £56.99

Samsung SH-S223F/BEBE 22x DVD±RW SATA Dual Layer ReWriter (Black) - OEM £14.99

Dell Ultrasharp 2009WFP 20" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Midnight Grey £149.99

Shuttle XPC SG33G5B Aluminium Barebones System - Intel Core 2 Duo (LGA775) £199.99

OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-8500C5 1066MHz Reaper HPC Edition Dual Channel DDR2 (OCZ2RPR10664GK) £94.99

Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 2.40GHz Guaranteed to run at 3.30GHZ (1466FSB) - Retail £139.99

Welcome to the forums, it should all be compatible although I don't know huge amounts about Shuttles but I'd say you would be better buying the standard Q6600 which is substantially cheaper and likely to overclock as far. I'd also buy decent PC6400 which will be more than sufficient for any overclocking you can do in the Shuttle e.g. G.Skill PC6400 PQ 4gb. Those two changes will give you about £100 extra.

//edit have you got a graphics card already or are you planning to use onboard, assuming that the Shuttle has onboard?
